Elliott is the Instructor and Assessor at the Norwich drone training centre. You can find out more about him and the rest of the team here.

This course booking is for the A2 Certificate of Competence (A2 CofC).

Please note that this course is delivered online.

Included in the course fee:

  • One day online theory course and examination.
  • Candidate materials, which will be posted to the address provided.
  • Access to our library of Quick Reference Handbooks (available for most common aircraft) so you can demonstrate safe operation of drones.
  • On successful completion the following certificates will be issued:
    • A2 Certificate of Competence (A2 CofC).
    • Global Drone Training presentation certificate.
  • Access to our online portal for three months after the course, providing training resources and useful information for remote pilots.

To complete the course, as well as passing the theory exams, you must complete the CAA registration process to obtain a Flyer ID. You will also need to declare your practical competence in the use of drones and submit a flight log to show the self training. Details of how to do this will be explained on your course information page after booking. If you have little or no flying experience then we offer verification of your flying competence by an instructor as an optional extra. This is normally built into some customised flight training.
